 Cagliari and its originsAn itinerary to discover the Sardinian capital’s ancient origins, through Castello alleys where ancient Cagliari’s chatelaines vicissitudes crossed with Pisans, Aragoneses, Catalans, Austrian and Piedmonts to the present day. Castello was built by the Pisans who inhabited it and fortified it from 1217. The hill was ceded to Pisans by the Giudicessa Benedetta di Cagliari, after a strong battle. From Viale Buon Cammino, through Porta Cristina, we will visit the Tower of San Pancrazio, the alleys of Piazza Palazzo, with Kings Palace, the Cathedral, the Bastion Saint Remy, Boyl Palace and the tower of the Elephant. You will then taste a typical meal in the city centre. Experience programme: Day 1: Arrival to chosen accommodation in Cagliari, free time. Day 2: Breakfast, guided visit (in Italian or English) to "Castello" Quarter and typical lunch. Day 3: Breakfast, free time and departure. Rates include:
