Atahotel Tanka Village Golf & Spa

The complex of Tanka Village Golf & Spa is located on the south-eastern coast of Sardinia, in the municipality of Villasimius, a village which is only 1km away and that can be easily reached by car, by bicycle (thought a cycle track) or on foot (covering a pedestrian walkway). Villasimius is a pleasant tourist destination that offers both some important environmental, archaeological, artistic and folk attractions and a varied and well-known gastronomic tradition. These characteristics have been embraced by Tanka Village Golf & Spa, which made them its first attraction ingredient: it is rich in gardens, it extends towards the beach of “Simius” with its whine and very fine sand and gives onto the enchanting bay between the Isole dei Cavoli and Serpentara (which is today a Marine Protected Area). This complex extends over 43 mainly plain hectares of land descending towards the sea and is surrounded and immersed in a luxuriant Mediterranean scrub, where the apartments and bungalows were built in harmony with nature. This village has large uncovered parking lots (600 spaces) that can be easily reached. The wide and welcoming Reception hall, located between the arrival/departure area and the rooms, includes the reception, the info point and the cash desk. The bedrooms and common areas are connected by a close net of small pedestrian walkways and bicycle paths where cars are forbidden. Common services are placed in the central part of the village, not far from the rooms and with direct access to the beach and the sea (that are about 50m away). Architectural barriers have practically disappeared in common areas in order to allow disabled people to benefit from all the available services. The dwellings, well integrated in the landscape, were distributed avoiding concentration to make Tanka Village Golf & Spa become the ideal destination to be away from everyday chaos and stress. The rich and varied gastronomic offer is one of the key elements of the services provided in this village. This resort has five restaurants, one of which for children, to allow its guests to change menu for lunch or dinner. Cash money has been practically avoided within the Resort: the Tanka Card is used at the restaurants, for sporting activities, beach services and any other kind of payment in this village. This is a real “prepaid card” that can be easily marked out by means of some easy automatic machines located everywhere in the resort (only guests of Domus rooms can choose to charge costs to the room). Money not spent by Tanka Card is refunded before departure at the reception. This accommodation facility offers both a hotel and a club formula.

Location

This village can be easily reached from the main ports and airports of the province of Cagliari. It is only 50km from the Sardinian chief town, connected by the (panoramic) provincial road n. 17. Thanks to this road, the port of Cagliari can be reached in only 50 minutes while the airport of Cagliari (only 54km away) can be reached in about 55 minutes through the state ring road n. 554.

Bedrooms

HOTEL FORMULA
Different room typologies are available: Domus Standard, Domus Junior Suite and Dimora Superior. Domus rooms are placed in three two-floor buildings provided with lift, located about 400m from the sea and in a quiet and private area of the resort. A reception and a private breakfast in the garden adjoining Domus rooms are at the guest's disposal. With supplement one can have room service and breakfast. Dinner is served at Mirto Restaurant. Domus Standard 45 one-room apartments placed on the second floor and composed of a luxury room with two beds and a sofa bed, a bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, and a large terrace giving onto the garden. In these rooms there are some steps. They can accommodate 3 people and an infant in a cot. Domus Junior Suite 84 two-room apartments placed on the ground or first floor and composed of two rooms, two bathrooms, and a terrace (or patio). In these rooms there are some steps. They can accommodate up to 4 people (the fourth upon request) and an infant in a cot. Dimora Superior 100 two-room apartments placed in two-floor buildings provided with lift, located in the vicinity of the mini club and about 300m from the sea. They are composed of an anteroom, a living room with 2/3 beds, a double bedroom, two bathrooms with shower and hair dryer. They all have a large and sunny terrace and are the ideal solution for large families. Air conditioning is only in the antechamber. They can accommodate up to 5 people (fifth person upon request) and an infant in a cot. The minimum condition for location is 2 adults and 2 children. Rooms with bathroom for disabled people are also available upon request.

CLUB FORMULA
This formula includes the following typologies of bungalow (Casbah Standard, Casbah Superior, Monte Superior, Monte Garden) and Dimora Standard rooms. Casbah Standard 302 one-room bungalows located in the central area of the resort and 200 to 400m from the beach. They are placed on the ground or first floor and composed of a large room with 2 beds and a small living room with a sofa bed. They can accommodate up to 3 people and an infant in a cot. Bungalows with bathroom for disabled people are also available upon request. Casbah Superior 65 one-room bungalows placed in the centre of the resort, 200 to 300m from the beach. They are composed of a large room with 2 beds and a small living room with a sofa bed. A private area from breakfast and dinner are at the guests' disposal. They can accommodate up to 3 people and an infant in a cot. Bungalow Monte Superior 99 one-room bungalows located in the hilly area of the resort, 400 to 600m from the beach and the centre of the resort. They are all placed on the ground floor and have an external patio, a large room with 2 beds, a small living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. In these bungalows there are some steps between the bathroom and the bedroom. They can accommodate up to 3 people and an infant in a cot. Bungalow Monte Garden 158 one-room bungalows located in the hilly and panoramic area of the resort, 600 to 800m from the beach and the centre of the resort. They are composed of a large room with two beds, a small living room with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. In these bungalows there are some steps between the bathroom and the bedroom. They can accommodate a maximum of three people and an infant in a cot. Dimora Standard 50 two-room apartments placed in two-floor buildings with lift, located 400m from the sea. These rooms are composed of an anteroom, a living room with 2/3 sofa beds, a double bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. They all have a large and sunny terrace and are the ideal solution for large families. Air conditioning is only in the antechamber. They can accommodate up to 5 people (the fifth person upon request) and an infant in a cot. The minimum condition for location is 2 adults and 2 children. All the rooms and bungalows are equipped with air conditioning (in Dimore Standard and Dimore Superior it is in the anteroom), bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, direct telephone, satellite TV, fridge, and safe with digital combination.
