Hotel Il Viandante. San Teodoro is one of the most famous town of Sardinia. Its shore, which is longer than 36 km., are considered among the most beautiful and interesting of the whole island, with wonderful landscapes, white sandy beaches, cliffs modelled by the wind and a beautiful sea especially in low season. San Teodoro is a well know summer town and a perfect stay any time of the year, also during the spring of fall which are ideal for those who have the need to relax surrounded by nature.

Location

Il Viandante is located in the centre of San Teodoro on the North-East coast of Sardinia at only 23 km from Olbia. The most famous beaches are "La Cinta" and "Cala D'Ambra", located at only 1500 metres and 800 metres from the hotel. From Olbia: go in direction Sassari and then take the S.S. 131 Bis to Nuoro or go along the state road 125 to Nuoro. From Alghero and Sassari: take the S.S. 131 to Cagliari and then the highway to Olbia. From Olbia take the S.S. 131 Bis or the Statale 125 to Nuoro. From Cagliari: go through the S.S. 131 in direction north until Abbasanta, from here go in direction Nuoro (131bis) - San Teodoro - Olbia.

Bedrooms

Built according to the typical characteristics of the Mediterranean tradition, the hotel has the following type of rooms: double rooms, double single use and triple rooms. All of the rooms are soundproof and different among them as regards the colours and decoration. Each double room, of approx 16 m2, has independent entrance and bathroom, sat TV (satellite ASTRA), hot/cold conditioning, minibar, covered veranda and safe. In the triple rooms there is a “puff bed” and cot for babies.

Amenities

Baby sitting/transfer upon payment, baggage deposit, secretary, bed and bath linen change every 3 days. San Teodoro offers a wide selection of tourist services such as sailing, windsurf school, diving, restaurants, bar, ice cream shops and a square which during the evening/nights turns into a meeting point, surrounded by Sardinian aircrafts shops and night stalls.

Restaurant

Service offered: breakfast. Meals offered are prepared with biological products and “homemade”, such as lemon cakes, tangerine, strawberry, peach, apricot and fig jams, sheep milk cheese, Sardinian sausage. It is possible to enjoy the Half Board service (to be requested upon arrival) thanks to the collaboration with the Restaurant pizzeria “Gallo Blu” located right next the structure where the guests can eat dinner.
