Free Beach Club Costa Rei

Located along the slope of a hill, the village opens to a long white sandy beach. The surrounding landscape, extraordinarily diverse and unspoilt, is characterised by the profile of coasts sloping towards the sea.

Location

On the south-western coast of Sardinia, 65 km from Cagliari and 70 km from the port of Arbatax; can be reached along the new state highway "S.S.125" or, alternatively, along a scenic road (the old state highway "S.S. 125"). The town centres of Muravera, Castiadas and Villasimius in the area can be easily reached too.

Rooms

The Free Beach Club has 410 rooms, set amid the greenery of its gardens. Room types available:

Oleandri: completely renovated in their furnishing, are equipped with air conditioning, minibar(with surcharge), hairdryer, safe and TV color;

Superior: suitable for the most demanding customers ( available upon request) can be double, triple or quadruple. In addition, these rooms have a large veranda with private garden, some have sea view. Superior rooms located on the upper floors have veranda and panoramic terrace with sea view. All the rooms are equipped with coffee table, sun loungers and/or deck chairs in the garden or terrace.

Restaurant

The free Beach club has 3 restaurants: “Il Centrale”, the “Moby Dick” and “Alle Palme” grill/pizzeria.

“Il Centrale” located in the piazzetta, is air-conditioned and offers extensive and tasteful buffets of the national and typical sardinian cuisine. Filtered water and local wine are included at meals.

“Alle Palme” grill/pizzeria (open from mid June to 10 September) offers tasty grilled meat and fish at lunchtime and a large variety of pizzas, appetizers, desserts and pastries for dinner. Filtered water, local wine or draft beer are included at meals.

“Moby Dick” restaurant, located by the sea, exclusive to Superior room guests (open from mid June to 10 September); reserved area in the main restaurant during closing periods, with buffet service at lunchtime and table service in the evening. Filtered water and local wine are included at meals (upon request wide selection of local and national wines, with surcharge). Oleandri rooms guests can access the "Moby Dick" restaurant only when available. Local reservation requested, subject to availability.

The village also has a nursery area, where young guests' parents can find at scheduled times: vegetable broth, pureed vegetables, soup with small pasta, homogenized food; the village staff will help guests to warm up any pre-cooked meal.
