Hotel Janus

The new Hotel Janus opened in June 2006 and is located in the city of Castelsardo. It is a Superior resort, overviewing the enchanting sea of the Gulf of Asinara. It is the ideal location for those willing to spend their holidays in an elegant atmosphere using the private beach next to the hotel and living at the same time the amusing city of Castelsardo.

Location

It is possible to arrive to Castelsardo from Sassari through the road SS200, from the hinterland with the SS134 and from S. Teresa di Gallura with a beautiful panoramic road. Castelsardo, thanks to it geographic location at the centre of the golf of Assinara, is the ideal point to do daily trips shortening travelling times. Approx 30 km to Porto Torres, from where it is possible to take a boat to visit the Park of Asinara. Approx 60 km from Stintino and the beautiful beach La Pelosa. 70 km from Alghero and Capocaccia with its famous caves of Nettuno. 70 km to Santa Teresa di Gallura with the possibility to take a boat and visit Corsica or the archipelago La Maddalena. 85 km to reach Palau. The Emerald Coast is at one hour drive.

Bedrooms

The hotel has 17 comfortable double rooms, lovely decorated. 14 of the rooms have sea view, 3 suite, 1 junior suite (with TV, bathroom with shower/sauna), 3 triple and 2 single. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, sat TV, telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub and are soundproof.

Amenities

The hotel offers its guests an health corner with personalised massages, diving, excursions bu land or sea, baby sitting and a business centre. Also, car and boat rental, secretary service, internet ADSL in the bedrooms, garage. On the last floor and multifunctional room for meetings with up to 100 seats.

Restaurant

It has no restaurant but the owner of the hotel manages one of the best renowned restaurant of the city called Fofò, where you can taste Sardinian and national specialities with a 20% discount (beverages excluded) on the menu.
