Positive aspects: The hotel has a very attractive courtyard, away from the street, with plenty of shade on hot days. Most of the rooms are spread around this courtyard, which means you go straight from the room into the open.

Negative aspects: The room was very dark, but I think this is quite typical for Italy and is certainly a positive aspect in summer when it can be extremely hot.
