Positive aspects: Attractive old street - but see problems below.

Negative aspects: Accommodation far from where we expected it would be - up a very steep street, a difficult walk down to central area and back. We had no warning of this - if we had had elderly parents with us, it would have been imnpossible. Also, in some aspects the place seemed unfinished, and there was a smell of damp. No-one on hand to contact if there were problems of any kind. Very noisy neighbours in house opposite.

Positive aspects: Location. Proffessional relaxed relationship with staff. Unique structure of building and lack of external embelishment identifying building as a hotel thereby retaining the original look to linked buildings in this riverside facade. Breakfast, for a Spanish/Italian hotel pretty good.

Negative aspects: The (only choice) white bread rolls at breakfast were tasteless and very dissapointing seeing as how Sardinia excels in its range and quality of breads!
