Hotel Arbatasar

Arba at Ashar. It sounds like a magic spell - and perhaps it is. It is the old name of Arbatax in Sardinia, set along the Eastern coast which is an island within the Island. It is an Arab word and means the fourteenth tower, the fourteenth of those towers which stood sentinel along the coast to check Saracen invasions. It is the magic word which will bring you to an island of relax and old-style hospitality. It is the name of the hotel, 4 stars luxury, located in the very centre of Arbatax, next to the tourist harbour. Arbasatar welcomes you with a harmonious blend of warm, silent colours which allows you to relax after enjoying sun, sea and nature.

Location

Arbatax, was once a small fishermen town, it is par of Tortolì, and it is located in the centre of the East Coast of Sardinia in a region called Ogliastra. The airport of Olbia is at 164 km whereas the one in Cagliari at 138 km. The port of Arbatax is at a few hundreds of meters from the structure.

Bedrooms

The hotel is opened the whole year round and has 43 double rooms and one external suite on two floors divided into two rooms, lounge and two bathrooms. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning and bathroom, telephone, internet connection, radio, minibar, safe and TV. Three of these rooms are junior suites and have bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.

The breakfast room on the third floor has an external terrace with panoramic view to the golf of Arbatax. The restaurant of the Hotel Arbatasar offers typical Mediterranean dishes and local specialties prepared with fresh products from our land and our sea.
