Stintino is located in the cliff of Capo Falcone, an area considered a sort of paradise because of its natural beauties among which the sea and the beach La Pelosa. The wide extension of Mediterranean plants is also interesting from the faunal point of view. In front of the promontory there is the island of Asinara, ex prison and today a natural reserve. The most important town in the area is Stintino, fishing town that today bases its economy mainly in the tourism. Going to the western coast, the area of Argentiera, important from the historical and tourisit point of view because of its old mine and the houses of the miners.
