Villa Andrea

Stintino is located in the promontory of Capo Falcone, an area that, thanks to its natural beauties (such as the sea of Pelosa beach) is considered a sort of earthly heaven. The wide expanse of the Mediterranean scrub is particularly interesting also from a faunal point of view. Asinara island, an ex penal settlement which is now a nature reserve, is situated right in front of the promontory. Stintino, a fishermen village whose economy is today mainly based on tourism, is the most well-known village in this area. Covering southwards the western coast, before arriving to Alghero the area of Argentiera is found: this is a very important site from an historical and tourist point of view thanks to its old unused mine and to its miners' village.
