Residenza Iglesiente

The territory of Iglesias is characterized by the massive presence of abandoned mining sites, industrial archaeology monuments as well as an insight into society at the turn of the nineteenth to the twentieth century. It deserves a particular atention the mine in Masua, whose activity had great boost thanks to the Pisani.
The sulcitane and iglesient coasts have the characteristic aspects of the phenomenon of submersion. The sharp erosion of wind and sea have given to this area some of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, from Chia to Marina di Arbus, passing through the dunes of Porto Pino, Piscinas (the most important dunes of Europe, but also the dunes of Chia to reach 20 meters), Scivu and San Nicolò (near Buggerru: This coast is long a dozen kilometers). It also impacts the splendid island of Pan di Zucchero, positioned in front of Porto Flavia: it was named in the eighteenth (formerly it was known by its name in Sardinian language, "Concali on Terraini") for its resemblance to the higher "Pao de Azucar" Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Location

The Residenza Iglesiente are 8 housing units located in a nobility palace of the '800 in the city center to Iglesias, in the pedestrian zone of the city a few metres from the main monuments and services (shops, banks and pharmacies). The city of Iglesias is about 53 km from Cagliari-Elmas and about 58 km from the port of Cagliari.

All apartments can host up to 4 people. They are studios equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, TV and private bathroom with shower, double bed and double sofa bed. They overlook a courtyard covered by a large skylight.
