Villa Capriccioli - casa padronale

Located inside a unique property of three houses of different sizes, CASA PADRONALE (manor-house) is in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, in a natural setting of rare beauty among granite rocks and the Mediterranean maquis. The house is only 140 meters away from the famous Capriccioli beach, which can be reached on foot through a path among the mediterranean maquis. The entrance and the shared garden is characterised by granite pillars and heavy wooden doors; guests can park their car (max. 3) under the wood and bamboo shed, on the right of the gate. From here, a very nice stone path winds along different ways to get each of the three houses. Some shaded areas offer romantic spaces, while a beautiful panoramic view enjoys the highest points. As well as the garden, the houses are rich in detail, both in their furnishing and decorations.

Location

Capriccioli, one of the most beautiful bays of the Costa Smeralda, is 22 km from Olbia maritime port and airport; 4 Km from Porto Cervo; 12 Km from Porto Rotondo.

The Villa

The house, of about 105 sqm, has a large bright living room,characterized by very light shades; two large glass doors, one entrance, one rear.

The sea and the garden view together with the white enamelled terracotta Vietri tiles placed diagonally, convey a feeling of both space and comfort. Bamboo sofas with white cushions and curtains, a piece of furniture in the living room and a large wall mirror recall these white shades. The dining area is somewhat secluded and has a large rectangular table with chairs covered in white fabric. A large sideboard in turquoise shades and a wall stencil designs echo the leitmotif of the furniture, inspired by a Sardinian tapestry with typically islanders drawings with white, turquoise and blue colors, thus creating a nice and summery color contrast.

An inlaid double wooden door separates the living from the sleeping area. The corridor, also enriched with decorations on the walls by a famous designer who has graced many villas in Costa Smeralda, leads to bedrooms, bathrooms and the small laundry room.

The sleeping area consists of 3 bedrooms: the master ensuite bedroom (with shower, washbasin, bidet and W.C. and walk-in closet); a second double bedroom; the 3rd bedroom is for children, with paintings on the walls representing small fishes: has a single bed and a pullout bed. Fun loft for children (very low height). Second bathroom with shower and other accessories.

The master bedroom is furnished with antiques belonging to the owner's family, such as a dresser with mirror and two elegant bedside tables with marble top placing side by side a trompe l'oeil double bed headboard painted on the shades of light blue depicting two angels faces, as well as the walls. The other double bedroom is also furnished with antiques, such as a splendid iron bed with fine paintings and two bedside tables with marble top. The modern craftmanship wardrobe recalls the bedside table colors.

The yellow gold curtains and the stencil painting on the wall make this room warm and cozy too. A large barbecue (approx. 30 sqm) with masonry table and benches, is in the backyard.
