Sa Muredda

The typical house Sa Muredda was built in the beginning of the '900 and has been recently renoveted according to the security regulations in force. It was realized using local materials and most part of it has been built in local stone. It is surrounded by an ample garden full of amphoras and rural items. The outside of the villa anticipates its inside with careful attention and interest paid to the local handicraft fittings which caracterized the interior of it. Batiks on the walls have been perfectly choosen according to the style of the b&b and the red floor, done in terracotta tiles. The garden with local mediterranean vegetation is equipped with a big table to dinner outside.

Location

The property is set in the centre of Villanovaforru, a very nice village of Marmilla, easily reachable from the main roads of the island. In the town you will find many signs indicating the b&b.

Rooms

The night area, just like the rest of the house, is characterised by wood with tables, benches, closets and beds and chairs in wrought iron that as whole discover a sober and classical style of the antique traditions. It has four rooms in total. Three double rooms and a triple room with private bathroom of which one is on a mezzanine floor adapt for disable. All rooms are carefully decorated with wooden furniture.

Cooking&Eating

On the ground floor there is the dining room that offers the chance to enjoy typical Sardinian dishes. In the room the flavours of the past blends with the demanding present.
