Passaggio a Bardia B&B

Passaggio a Bardia Bed & Breakfast is in the centre of Dorgali. It takes its name from the mountain at the foot of which lies this B&B - Bardia - which means "guard" in the Sardinian language. The Via Amsicora (from the name of the head of the fur covered sardinians), where the B&B is located, was in ancient times the road leading to the watch tower areas defending the town from the invasions from the sea. These invasions threatened the old town of Dorgali more than once. From the spacious terraces and balconies of the B&B guests enjoy a beautiful panoramic view onto the old town centre and the neighbourhood.

Location

Passaggio a Bardia Bed & Breakfast is in the town centre of Dorgali, approximately 100 km from Olbia airport and maritime port.

Rooms

The two rooms equipped with heating and balconies are furnished with modern style. The first room is characterised by the presence of a performance of a dorgalese craftsman called: “Sprung bed bases with wooden slats and top quality mattress”; the other bedroom is characterised by the presence of the "Strips" bed, designed by the Cini Boeri architect, on display at the MoMa (Museum of Modern Arts) in New York and still in production. Spacious and comfortable double rooms with the possibility of accommodating a 3^rd/4^th bed: all the rooms are ensuite with central hot water.

Cooking&Eating

Breakfast is served on the ground floor, in the dining room of the owners or on the same floor. In addition to milk, coffee, tea, chocolate, rusks, fruit juices and local honey, delicious fruit jams of the Dorgali countryside are offered. Excellent Dorgali sweets alternating with delicious cakes specially made for our guests are also served for breakfast. Other types of breakfast can also be requested upon arrival.
